Mike Ellis is an esteemed teacher in the Dallas area and has been teaching since 1972.  His unique method of teaching was fostered by the late Terrill Gardner of McCord Music Company fame.  Mr. Ellis' dedication to teaching music skills, music understanding, and music appreciation set him apart from many teachers.  While guiding students through manual skills, Mr. Ellis pulls from his 38 years of teaching experience and 47 years of performing experience to give the student "more than just lessons."
